Katarina Witt Foundation

With many projects in Germany but also throughout the world, the Katarina Witt Foundation supports the mobility of children and adolescents who live with a physical disability. Support comes in many forms such as sporting events, medical care or specific equipment, for instance special wheelchairs or other aids. The Katarina Witt foundation helps many members of disabled sports associations, including schools and day care centers, that are in need of support. Katarina knows, how much can be achieved with sports: it does not only boost motivation and self-confidence but it also improves coordination skills.

Since 2005 the foundation has been actively involved to support children with disabilities and helped to fund over 300 projects to date. We are tirelessly seeking patrons and friends to support our quest and help the activities of the foundation.
