13. German wide Reading-Day in Berlin

The red carpet on Thursday evening on the occasion of the "Bambi Award" was very glamorous, but the real life for the young generation happens in school.

On Friday, I supported the German wide reading-day, initiated by the ZEIT magazine, and read to very lively 3rd graders from the GutsMuths primary school in Berlin-Mitte. A big thank you to the children and their committed teachers. I was welcomed so warmly and curiously. And a thousand thanks for your lovely and artistic thank you drawings.

I hope that by reading "Dilip and the Big Bang" by Salah Naoura to the little bookworms I was able to further stir their interest in reading. :-)
