2. INTERNATIONAL PRESENTATION IN GUANGZHOU / CHINA

From November 10th until the 16th the delegation of our Munich 2018 bid stays in Guangzhou where the 16th Asian Games are taking place. There is a larger number of athletes participating here than at the Olympic Games and several disciplines are included that are not part of the Olympic program.
On November 13th the applicant cities get the 2nd chance to present the concepts of their application for the Olympic Winter games 2018 during the 29th OCA-Meeting (Olympic Council of Asia). After our successful presentation in Acapulco / Mexico we are able to score once again with the strong points of our application: compact Games, great atmosphere, full stadiums and a unique Winterfest which the whole world will remember. Unfortunately all 3 applicants have to struggle with technical difficulties during their 10 minute presentations but we don't let this put us off our stride and receive a lot of praise from the OCA members.
Of course we don't miss the opportunity to see the opening of the Asian Games and i have to admit that I was truly impressed. What a sensational mixture of creativity, sportiness, perfection, playfulness and variety...
