8th Hamburg-Berlin Classic-Rally

The time has come to defend our title in the classic car rally. I am very excited to race again together with my team partner BMW classic boss Uli Knieps. On board of an exquisite vintage 1937 BMW 328, we drive almost 800 kilometres on scenic country roads in three days and 6 legs. This year´s itinerary leads us from Berlin to Hamburg passing through Tangermünde, Car-City Wolfsburg as well as through beautiful Harz mountains and Lüneburger Heide. I navigate with great concentration and Uli drives us safely to our destination but we still manage to have plenty of fun along the way.

Despite our efforts, we were not able to defend our title of last year. For the record, we were in 33rd place after the 1st day, working our way up to 27th at the end of the 2nd day and finally ending up respectably 23rd out of more than 180 teams. Let´s not forget that we also won the 8th of the 18 special stages!
