JURY MEMBER FOR THE “GOLDEN STEERING WHEEL” IN BALOCCO

Since 1976, AUTO BILD and BILD am SONNTAG have been awarding the "Golden Steering Wheel". As a jury member, I get to drive 24 cars in 6 different categories and test them together with well-chosen celebrities, experts and racing drivers on the traditional and well-known test track of Fiat and Pirelli. It is a real pleasure to have the opportunity to drive and try out manifold car models ranging from small and compact, SUVs to sports cars and alternatively powered vehicles. May it be BMW, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo Giulia or Tesla, it was a privilege to take them all for a spin!

At the end of the day and despite my long career of spinning pirouettes, I was nevertheless a little dizzy from the constant driving in circles and the repetitive braking and accelerating. But that's what is needed as a proper test pilot :-)
